The crack of a bat connecting with a baseball. The smell of hot dogs. A level green field where players, fans, and children can enjoy America's pastime. Thanks to our partnership with the Brooklyn Cyclones, our Dreamers—and everyone turning out to enjoy the game—got to experience the magic of being on the field during the Cyclones' annual charity game for Dream Factory Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn Cyclones minor league baseball team, a New York Mets affiliate, is a proud supporter of our foundation. As they prepare for the anticipated 2025 season, they look forward to this year’s annual Dream Factory Brooklyn charity game happening August 17th.
Zymeer, one of our dreamers with severe autism, was an honorary game manager for the 2024 Brooklyn Cyclones charity game. Zymeer took the mound, stood to throw out the first pitch, and took the crowd’s hearts with him. He even led “Take Me To The Ballgame” from the press box for the seventh-inning stretch.
After the game, Zymeer rounded the bases. When he touched home plate, the team told him he was going to Disney World, and the crowd erupted for the most impactful score of the night!
Zymeer’s mother, Heaven, said she’d kept promising him they’d go to Disney World while she reached out to other wish-granting foundations, but many don’t support kids with developmental disabilities. Fortunately, Dream Factory Brooklyn was overjoyed to help Heaven. What does this mean to her? “Everything,” she said. “I have help. I don’t have to do this all by myself.”
At Dream Factory Brooklyn, we believe nothing has to be done alone. With your help, we can fulfill other families’ dreams, just like Zymeer’s. The best part is that it only takes a small seed of your time or change to reap life-changing results for children in need.
